Launched in 2006, "When I Was a Kid" is a family owned and run business based in Northamptonshire which trys to brings you the customer the tradition and quality back into toys that is sadly lacking in this modern age.

We have tried to focus on traditional toys that we know you will love and with our famous pocket money range starting from just £1 there is something for every budget. Many of these toys coming from small companies and individual artists that produce unique and exquisite products all beautifully made.
